Live Stream Requirements

    Note: Latency, buffering can occur depending on the source power of the internet connection. The higher the speed connection, the less buffering (if any) and Latency, which the standard is 10-15 secs delay (Same as Youtube). To sum it up (1) Internet Speed and (2) distance from servers, will play a role in the streaming quality in the Field during CAMP. For home connection, there should be a smooth transition.

    Starting a Live Stream

    • Go to Media Library (Uploads).
    • From the icon toolbar located on the left side, click on "Streams".
    • From the icon toolbar located on the right side, click on "Add New Stream".
    • You will be prompted with a popup where you can set the title, description, tags and select the category of the live stream.
    • After submitting, you will see the "Stream Setup" page.
    • The "Stream Server" and "Stream Name/Key" will need to be added in whatever Stream Service App you are using.
    • GO TO THE "How to videos" section of Ahchyam.com. Watch the video "How to Livestream on Ahchyam.com".


    The Preferred and most user friendly App for Livestreaming, using the RTMP process is STREAMYARD. It will save your Destination Settings, so all there is to do is just click, edit the title and go live, just like in the Free Version. It is strongly suggested you review the instructional video, mentioned above and also follow the step by step process below.

    Using STREAMYARD to stream Live on ahchyam.com is simple. Just copy and paste the generated Stream Server name into STREAMYARD'S RTMP URL section. Next, copy and paste the unique generated RTMP  key also known as the Stream Key into the RTMP (Custom RTMP Key) section. From there input all the other required information such as title of "Live Session".     *You can get the STREAMYARD App at https://streamyard.com. Only the paid subscription at $25 monthly, will give you the ability to use RTMP.
